New plans reveal Jebel Ali Beach is set to be the longest public beach in Dubai

New plans reveal that Jebel Ali Beach development will include the longest public beach in Dubai at 6.6 kilometres long. The beach will include an array of facilities for swimming and diving, play zones for children as well as walkways and viewing platforms.

The plans, unveiled on Sunday July 7, state that Jebel Ali Beach will cover an impressive 330 hectares, with 5 kilometres of Dany beach to be developed by Nakheel and a 1.6 kilometre mangrove beach to be developed by Dubai Municipality.

Furthermore, Jebel Ali Beach’s turtle rehabilitation will allow visitors to enjoy watching turtles in their natural habitat.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said: “Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, [Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai] we are committed to developing the infrastructure and services needed to offer diverse urban experiences for citizens, residents, and visitors.
