Nike and legendary streetwear brand Huf are planning to bring back their first Air Max 1 collab next year, sources tell Complex. News of the reissue was initially reported by leaker @bubblekoppe on Instagram today.
There are no early images of the upcoming retro available at the time of writing, and the shoe pictured above is the 2004 release. According to the leaker account, the 2024 pair will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original drop.
The Huf x Nike Air Max 1 from ’04 donned a mixture of grey tones covering the nubuck and leather uppers, while green accents appear on the tongue and heel’s “Nike Air” branding, as well as on the Swoosh logos.
In addition to the general release pair, a hyperstrike version of the collab was also created that featured a similar color scheme with perforated panels on the toe box and collar, and the San Francisco skyline embroidered on the heel.
Nike did not respond to a request for a comment on the Huf x Nike Air Max 1 retro. Check back soon for new developments.
