I AM HOME, A Reflective Collection By EPISODES

The year 2020 was as challenging as it could be, made a lot of realizations, opened doors and offered us different kinds of perspectives on how we take life. For the brand, EPISODES, a clothing label that best reflects experiences and statements through pieces of their releases and garments, home is a person, a feeling, something that shaped us. Home is where we make it. It is more than a place. It is a discovery– of one’s self, a detour to a favorite memory or even a reaffirmation of one’s thought or emotion. Thus, this paradigm turned to tangible things in the form of clothes and home essential pieces presented on their recent collection dubbed as “ I am Home”. This homegrown brand from the Philippines is taking their game into a higher notch by creating a collection that comprises apparels that are meant for style and of course, functionality.
The word “home” is probably one of the earliest words we have ever learned in our existence. Hearing the word “home” may be a little bit usual but it is dearly close to our heart. For times like this, how can you miss the said word when it is now even more popular than ever. With the terms, “work from home” or even “homework”, we are more accustomed to these terms, to these activities. But, really, what is “home” all about? Home is family. Home is love. Home is where the heart is. It is a place where you can just freely be yourself. Hence, the phrase, “feel at home”– a spiel that your close relative or friend would say to you when you visit their place as they wanted you to feel comfortable.
The Collection
EPISODES banks on their iconic brand color-Purple that transcended to mostly all of their pieces. From hats, crew neck tee, to long sleeves, slippers, to apron, water jug by Nalgene and to things necessary to a household such as coasters, rugs and sturdy tote bags, the brand has managed to pull it off and innately manifested a seamless and strong combination of their message while sticking to their signature look and branding.

And to further give our hats-off to this recent release, they have also worked with artist Elijah Contillo for the graphic shirt design and to the artisanal team of Hogsmith for the Apron. Thus, for sure, the team behind this campaign has really worked hard to present everything in a holistic way.
To EPISODES, the best home we can always find is within our own company, own capacity and perception. We just have to rightfully set it up wherever, whenever or whatever it may be. The “i.am.home” collection just dropped last December 12, 2020 and is available via their website episodesupply.com.
