Juan Karlos Joins Lukas Graham on Stage
The Filipino singer behind the viral hit “Ere”, Juan Karlos Labajo, recently experienced a fan’s dream when he commented on Lukas Graham’s TikTok video, which led to a unique opportunity to perform with the Danish band at their past Manila concert.
On October 17, Juan Karlos expressed his excitement about attending Lukas Graham’s show in a comment on their TikTok video. To his surprise, the band replied with an invitation: “Hey JK! Why not come and perform this song with me instead?” Juan Karlos’s enthusiastic response was widely shared, as he exclaimed, “OMG OMG NO WAAAAY 😭😭” and “IM DOWN!!!”
Lukas Graham, a Danish band consisting of Lukas Forchhammer, Mark Falgren, and Magnus Larsson, is known for songs like “7 Years,” “Love Someone,” and “Mama Said.” This three-time Grammy-nominated band performed at the New Frontier Theater on October 22, marking their return to the Philippines after their last appearance in 2019.
