Paulina Almira: This Filipino Artist Excels on the Global Stage.

Paulina Almira, a graphic designer and digital illustrator from the Philippines, creates captivating compositions blending technology, fashion, and the natural world. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Information Design from Ateneo de Manila University (2012-2016) and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fashion/Apparel Design from Parsons School of Design (2016-2018), Almira now works as a freelance artist.
Her work evokes a dreamlike quality, skillfully combining design elements and a carefully chosen color palette. Recurring themes in her work include mirrors, glass, eyes, and a prominent motif – the snake, often transformed into a charming, whimsical element when wrapped in flowers and pink.
What sets Almira apart is her talent for creating unexpected juxtapositions. She brings beauty to unconventional pairings, whether it’s a snake in a teacup, a dessert with a glass element, or a hand delicately holding a glistening eyeball.
Almira’s artistry has earned her recognition from a diverse range of clients, including Times Square Arts, Dom Dolla, Nike, Supergreat, Vogue SG, Vice Magazine, The Magician, and her recent achievement – designing The Rolling Stone‘s cover album. Paulina Almira’s work is a testament to her unique ability to fuse diverse elements into captivating, surreal compositions that continue to gain international acclaim.
